PRETTY SPARKLEY JEWELLERY AT AFFORDABLE PRICES

HOW TO KEEP YOUR JEWELLERY LOOKING LIKE NEW

Unlike it's metal counterparts like silver and gold, zinc alloy is a lesser known material.

However it is a great option for jewellery, if not better.

Why?

It is an inexpensive and affordable option that is still high quality.

Zinc alloy is completely lead-free, which it makes it safe to wear.

Brass is a commonly used type of zinc alloy, made of 55% to 90% copper.

However, the drawback to zinc alloy is that it can easily deteriorate.

The surface can darken or become rough when not handled with care.

After each use, care for it properly and  store it properly so that your zinc alloy jewellery can last a long time.

So make sure you handle your jewellery with care to prevent it from discoloring.

Causes of Deterioration and Maintenance Methods

Zinc Alloy can tarnish and deteriorate over time.

The main cause is something called "sebum stain"

When the sweat and oil mixes with some skin types the metal can have a adverse reaction.

Don't worry!

Simple fix for this

After each use (each day) , wipe your zinc alloy jewelry clean with a soft cloth or you can also use a dedicated brass polishing cloth, to help maintain the shine.

Please take off jewellery when you are ready to sleep and wash, swim or exercise.

If you notice that the surface of jewelry become rough, wash it off with natural detergent. Make sure that your jewellery pieces are dried thoroughly after it gets wet. Keep free from creams, cosmetics and body products.

Store your jewellery away from moisture and the sun.

Zinc alloy has been a product since ancient times.

Surprisingly so many metal materials that we see and use in our daily life are made from zinc alloy.

Zinc alloy is hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.
